"Walter was an excellent host. The pastries and fresh fruit were a sweet and much appreciated touch. The best part of our stay was the quiet mornings on the back porch and the quiet evenings around the fire. The cabin was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. It was centered between Brenham and Round Top which worked out perfect for our anniversary getaway and shopping trip. "

"We saw a cockroach in kitch. The house is old, but is it fine. That’s a ranch experience. Nice dark sky for star watch. But during daytime, we didn’t see any horsed or cattle as expected. Check in and check out is no touch self-service. The instruction from the host is clear and easy to follow. They provided big size breakfast pack to go. We eat them for two days. I appreciate that."
