July4th getaway

We have stayed here twice and both times have been wonderful. We relaxed on the back porch watching the deer and cows graze. Another great vacation where you can truly relax. We will definitely be back.

Nice place out in the country

We didn’t spend much time at this rental. However, it was clean, comfortable, and a nice get away. Beds were very comfy and after a day of painted churches and antiques, I slept very well. The cows in the morning were a nice surprise.

Quaint Country Cottage

Very cozy house surrounded by rolling hills and lots of cows. Excellent place for relaxing amd enjoying country living. Owner goes out of her way to make you feel at home. We will definitely be back.

Off the Beaten Path

We just stayed one night but really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. Wish we had more time to enjoy the relaxing location with no traffic. We would definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Cow Country

The property was as listed and very quaint and quiet. The refrigerator could have used a little cleaning and the bathroom could benefit from a ceiling fan. The cows were entertaining.

Round Top

We stayed here while making the rounds at Round Top and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the country after a long day of shopping. We drove to the house after hours and had a bit of a time finding the correct turn into the drive way. GPS had us a little off track but it was absolutely no big deal. We got some good laughs and blame ourselves. The host is very nice and responds promptly. I recommend staying here.

Family Thanksgiving dinner

The property was lovely, Quiet and cozy. It has a fenced in yard for our Jack Russell Shorty. Which he loved. We had initially planned the trip to attend Thanksgiving with family. The family member was unable to host Thanksgiving dinner so Waldine ,our host allowed, us to have the festivities there. We brought most items needed to prepare dinner. However when we arrived she had most everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and appliances needed. We had a great time with the kiddos and grandkids. After we were able to watch the football game. Later when everyone went home we enjoyed a peaceful evening watching the beautiful sunset with a glass of wine. Checkout was a breeze. Thank you Waldine for providing a home away from home. The cottage gave a warm family gathering fell. It all felt as if we were back at my grandparents house cooking, while the kids played in the yard, later enjoying our family meal.
