"We loved the food; the stuff; the rooms and the swimming pool. A great place to relax, reflect and enjoy some luxury. I have been here twice and will come again. "
"Close to the station, shops and restaurants. Very convenient.
No free parking, which was shown otherwise at the time of booking.
Room not spacious but big enough.

"the managers were helpful carrying our cases up and down two fcloors. no lift there. we found the menu had the same thing on every night. i am a diabetic type two and not everything i could eat apart from the beef steak pie and chicken with rice. i did not want the peppercorn sauce but i asked for gravyt which was bought to me when i had nearly finished the meal. room service could have been better. sometimes no milk ortea bags . one occasion waste paper basket not emptied and cups npot washed. otherwise we were ahppy there.

"Clean, well-appointed room. Breakfast had lots of options and delicious. Staff were very professional and helpful. Highly recommend. Does require a car/taxi to get to shops."
"This is a fun place to stay. I booked a safari-themed family room to sleep 5 even though it was just me staying. Room rate included parking, breakfast and use of the pool.
Room was a little tired but clean and perfectly fine for an overnight stay. There’s no overhead light in the bedroom area (just the corridor by the door) so it could be a challenge if you plan to read, etc. There’s a fridge in the room which can be a little noisy but I slept fine with my usual earplugs.
The bunk beds had complimentary Freddo frog chocolates so I enjoyed those.
The pool is a lovely bonus. It wasn’t busy when I stayed as it was a weekday during school term.
There’s a bar and two restaurants. The food options are mostly burgers, pizzas and ‘from the grill’ options. Not much for a vegetarian so I chose the two cocktails for £18 option and had packed snacks back in my room.
While this isn’t aimed at the single adult overnight stay, I’d definitely stay again. Nice people and a fun place to stay. It cost the same as a more standard B&B which wouldn’t have given me the chance to see giraffes and zebras at breakfast.
I met other single travellers who also felt this was a bargain midweek and much better than a standard hotel. Everyone was leaving happy in the morning. "
"Lovely little hotel, superior room was bigger than we expected looking over the front of the hotel. Fairly clean, only minor point, as the hotel was full there were no spare pillows,I sometimes, I struggle with my breathing hence the extra pillow at night. Will stay again."
