"We had a great experience staying at the Empress! The location is unrivalled and gives great access to Victoria. We were blessed with an amazing sunset and had the privilege of sitting in the window of the bar sipping cocktails watching it. Great place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back."

"The four of us very much appreciated our stay at this house. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean, and all amenities provided. The location was nice, away from downtown but with access to lagoon, ocean, Hatley Castle and shopping resources. The best part was communication with the owner. Liza is very welcoming, informative, and responsive to issues that come up. I may have missed it in the description, but the space is on the second story and they have a shoes-off policy, which was a bit dicey for seniors on wood stairs. On the other hand, it was very clean, and comfortable! We enjoyed breakfast on the deck and the well appointed kitchen. We would definitely want to stay here again should we be fortunate enough to return to Victoria."

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay for a week from July 17-34, 2026.The unit became our "home away from home". It was very comfortable with a great location -near to the ocean and beach and close to most attractions.Our host, Jayne, was very friendly and helpful !We would highly recommend this property ! You will have a very enjoyable stay !!If we come back to Victoria again, we will definitely return to this property ."
