Staff are very friendly and inviting. The property is well maintain. It's also very quiet. Unfortunately, the beds are not comfortable, the refrigerator didn't work, and there was a used soap bar in the shower.

Clean, safe, and comfortable stay. The room was well-maintained, with convenient amenities, microwave, refrigerator and a comfy bed. Great walkable location with shops and restaurants nearby. Easy access to the highway but still quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Clean room. Looks recently remodeled. Reasonably quiet. It’s Kind of a bad part of town, lots of homeless around, The management is pretty on top of keeping the riff raff at bay though.

Convenient, not luxurious.

Last minute place to stay. The staff was great. Very convenient to food options, you can walk. Pet friendly which is very important to me with doggy bag facility. The only drawback is the area. It is very populated with homeless.

The staff is very friendly. However, we did not stay at this property. The minute we got there we felt unsafe. There are many homeless wondering on the property. There is limited parking. The area surrpunding the hotel is not the best. Just could not get out of there quick enough.

Price was good. They do their best to detour the homeless hanging round. Lots of cameras and well lit around the building, but still lots of them hanging around. One man, under the influence, was leaning our door when we opened it and we had to yell at him to leave. Very clean room. Updated and clean bathroom. TV worked. Had wifi. Hair dryer tried to work, but it was on it's way out. Great size fridge and yhey included dish towels, which was nice. Great AC and friendly staff.

For the price it was average. We just slept there, so no luxuries needed. There were a lot of fast food places to eat at, so that was nice. Having a refrigerator and microwave was nice.

A room is What You Get

New beds, but cheap; hard plastic chair; 720 line tv (1080 is hd). But, at these prices, what do you expect? I could sleep, and the heat/AC worked. Nice shower, too.

Will stay again.

Silly, but the sheets actually smelled fresh and clean. Many places you stay, you know the sheet are clean, they just don't have that fresh smell. The floor in the bathroom and by the sink area were heated, what a treat. My only complant would be that the room was tight with a kingsize bed in it.

It had been remodeled. The room was small, but everything was very nice in the room. Escondido just has a lot of homeless walking around and it does make you feel unsafe and a bit uncomfortable.

The staff were nice, the room was pretty good however for the price I was expecting more. The tub had no way to plug, the lock didn't work for the bathroom and sometime during the night the fridge quit working, so I lost some cold items. The area was sketchy

The nightstand, the table top and the toiles were not clean. the first night I told the front desk girl that the toilet was clogged, she said: you can come for the tool and unclog it yourself (instead of offering solutions or tell me that maintenance will take care of it). Other than that, is a good place if you don’t want to spend too much money for a room.

The room itself was neat. It seemed clean and well maintained. My biggest issue is that I specifically got a Non-smoking room because of my sensitivity to cigars and cigarettes. As soon as I entered the room it reeked of cigarettes and the bathroom was by far the worse. I tried airing it out, turned on the AC but nothing helped.
