"I loved our stay. The staff is great. I loved the pool and beach. They don’t have ice machines on the floors, so you have to call room service for ice. I wish they had a coffee shop or breakfast place in the hotel other than ElVez or room service. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel and I would go back."

"The experience was extremely disruptive and disappointing. We originally booked and paid for an oceanfront room in the towers in the beach, but in the middle of the night the fire alarm began making a loud noise continuously, making it impossible to sleep. We were then told we had to move rooms at 1:15am, walk to a different wing of the hotel, across the marina and lobby, more than a 5 min walk away, and the replacement room was a partial intercoastal and partial ocean-view room, but a much farther walk to the actual beach than our previous room. After moving all of our belongings again, the air conditioning unit in that room was also making loud noises continuously, forcing us to move a SECOND time in the middle of the night to a different room down the hall. At that point, our entire evening and rest were completely ruined. We spent the night dealing with maintenance issues and room changes instead of enjoying the accommodations and experience we specifically paid for to celebrate a momentous occasion in our marriage. I understand that issues can happen, but this was far beyond a minor inconvenience. After speaking with a manager-in-training downstairs at the front desk, he waived the $50 resort fee and told us he would email or call us back for further compensation and never did. What started off as a lovely, last minute getaway for our anniversary, turned into a highly disappointing stay."

"The hotel definitely needs an upgrade. The building feels very old, including the elevators, furniture, carpets, and overall decor, which are quite outdated. That said, the hotel is functional, and our room was clean and spacious. The beach access was excellent — literally right across the street — which was one of the best parts of the stay. However, the street/area leading to the hotel sometimes felt a bit sketchy, with some homeless people and unusual characters around, so I personally did not feel comfortable walking in the area at night. At night, it was also noisy at times due to inconsiderate guests who seemed to be partying or possibly drunk, which affected the experience. The highlight of our stay was Javier at reception. He was absolutely amazing — kind, helpful, professional, and welcoming. Having someone like him at the front desk makes such a great first impression, and we truly hope he is recognized for the excellent work he does. Honestly, we would come back just to see him again! :)"

"The hotel smelled of mildew and marijuana. The fixtures in the room are starting to break and the wood finish is peeling off the cabinets. There were male enhancing drugs left in the closet of the room. I stayed in, which makes me think they didn’t clean thoroughly. Since I booked through Expedia, I went through them for a refund, but they told me that I should’ve contacted the hotel. I assumed this was the right step but when I had an emailed the hotel, we will see if I get a response."
