"What a gem of a property! Fully contained, private, spacious, spotless studio unit with all the amenities and comforts of home. The property owners were onsite to meet us and we were welcomed with fresh bread rolls, butter and jam. Such a treat after a full day of travelling. I can’t recommend this properly enough. I have nothing to say on areas for improvement. It was perfect. Thank you. "

"Positives- Clean, spacious, older building, easy selfcheckin, perfectly placed short stroll to train station and main road/eateries, plenty of milk for cuppas. Negatives - thin walls and floors so can hear adjacent people, television could not pick up signal at all, secondary wotif messaging service did not work, there's a cutoff timer for the spa so you can't use it after 8pm."

"Not up to the standard expected from a Stayz property. Advised by Heather we couldn't check in until 3pm so it was 'perfect'. However on checking in, it was not perfect. Property not advertised as a garage conversion, (low ceilings, dark), but rooms large. Great bathrooms. Several trip hazards in house. Kitchen - haphazard. Not clean, unsafe electrical items (small oven/cooker) sitting on top of microwave and leaning against wall. Bathroom taps came off/loose. Outdoor area in the driveway next...

"If you want a simple but clean place that is well equipped, quiet and has comfy beds this is great. Our carpark was blocked but the contact soon sorted out another one. The drive is quite long if youre not great at backing. But is straight so not too tricky."

"Getting the front door open was a bit challenging to one not used to mobile phone communication. Also disappointed we were unable to use the garage attached to the unit. Currently being used as a store room. Otherwise all was OK. Would stay there again."

"Lovely unit in a beautiful street. Lake Wendouree a short walk away. Little extras are provided with the unit which makes it feel a little more special and that some thought has gone into making it a great experience."

"Close to central Ballarat, with a short stroll to the station, & close to restaurants & cafes. In the charming part of Lydiard Street North’s heritage homes. A minor issue in the bathroom, with water running continuously in the cistern, needs some attention."
