"Just a few minor details that stopped it getting Excellent. Milk in fridge was off but quickly replaced when told. Had breakfast in room which was excellent, and on time but salt pot was empty. The settee was quite badly stained. The staff were all outstanding .if the minor points were attended to it would definitely be an excellent from me. "

"Tried the Crown as an alternative to Travelodge, just for a change. This old village Inn exceeded expectations. Friendly staff at the bar were welcoming and showed me to a classically furnished ensuite room overlooking the quiet beer garden. Bar was busy and friendly and pub grub good value. This room was great value and included one of the best full English breakfast served by again warm and friendly staff. The village is beautiful and in lovely setting. I came on a business trip but this...
