"This was our second stay at Mountaintown Creek Escape and just as wonderful as the first time. Such a gorgeous property. The home had everything that we needed and is so comfortable. We cooked all of our breakfasts and dinners at home and the kitchen is well equipped. The balcony over the river is the perfect place for coffee and cocktails. We definitely spent most of our time out there. Contact with the host was easy and prompt. We love this vacation home and plan to return yearly!"

"Quiet and tranquil retreat, if you need to reset and just forget about everything this is the place for you. The only recommendation I would give is for the property manager to clean the dock area and figure out a way to make the stairs a little less steep."

"The cabin was cozy and clean! The view off the back porches was fantastic and the inside was decorated nicely and very clean. The kitchen had all the things you would need to cook and prepare meals. The hot tub was wonderful to have after a long day of hiking. The only drawback to the cabin is the drive up to it. Some parts of the mostly gravel road are steep and may be difficult for some people who aren’t experienced on roads like these. Thankfully, the owner gave perfect directions on how to get to the cabin. Additionally, the power was out when we arrived and the generator was running and everything necessary was working. This is a fantastic cabin to rent, especially if you want the feeling of seclusion and privacy. We are hoping to return in the near future!"

"Overall, it was a great stay. My only complaint was the check in. The agent was occupied with a customer making a phone reservation so we waited 20 minutes for her to finish, even though we had a prepaid reservation. The facility was clean. The breakfast was decently stocked with good variety of items and the room was very comfortable and quiet. "

"We loved the location of the cabin, had alot of character inside and out. The bedrooms & bathrooms are spacious. Game room is great! Hot tub was in the perfect spot for Mountain views. Fully stocked with dishes & towels, full kitchen and washer/dryer combo. Would definitely consider staying here again."
