"The room was huge. Staff was friendly and really made an effort to make our stay pleasant (including waiting until late for a late checkout). Breakfast was good. I didn’t try the restaurant in the site, but it looked beautiful. The hotel is in an old town house that’s very charming. A bit old but facilities are in great condition. Parking on the street was easy to find (which works great if you’re coming at a weekend, since parking is not charged on weekends), and it’s easy to walk to the...

Wine & Books Porto Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was friendly, courteous & helpful throughout our stay. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival.
Our double superior room with a balcony was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The balcony was large, but the view could’ve been better. The placement of the glass shower within the room’s living space, rather than the bathroom, was somewhat odd to us and could be uncomfortable depending upon one’s travel companion and the lack of privacy, but we got used to it.
The location of the hotel was great!
Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay at one of the Wine & Books properties again based upon our recent experience.

"We loved everything about our stay. The hotel/property is absolutely amazing. The location is on the other side of the river but we enjoyed the walk to the main area in Porto. It was approximately 20 minute walk or a cheap uber ride. It was nice to be away from the hectic area after long days of sightseeing. And you get a beautiful view of centro Porto.
Our room was extremely spacious and modern. The rooftop was super cute. Breakfast buffet was so yummy, And every hotel staff we had contact with were just so kind, happy, and genuine. We will only stay here when we return to Porto.
Thank you to The Rebello Hotel for the most perfect stay and for celebrating our birthdays. Whatever you are doing, keep it up!!"
"A very fun and hip hotel. There’s a ping pong table in the lobby. The bed and towels were comfy. They even had condoms available in the rooms - responsible public health intervention! The restaurants were great. I loved all the food. The roof top bar with pool has a wonderful view of the sunsets!"
"The hotel had all the expected amenities, and the staff was helpful and cordial. Breakfast was excellent - lots of hot and cold options. I enjoyed being in a quiet neighborhood that is not filled with loud tourists. There's a wonderful food court a block away that stays open late - Mercado Bom Successo. I found it wonderful for getting a quick bite after a long day of exploring."
