"It was a bit of an adventure finding Hotel Pacifica after a long day of travel, given it is located on the far side of the river with no obvious way to cross, but after asking directions from another "gringo" we found our way across the foot bridge. "Harbor 171 will be the place we stay when returning to Puerto Vallarta. I loved the view, the pool, the AC.You could bring your own drinks and beverages down to the pool. Beach was beautiful. "This is a great place the rooftop pool is amazing. There are lots of hills and stairs to get to this property unless you are taking Uber or taxi. The water pressure is our bathrooms was not very great but other than that it’s a really good spot. "

"Perfect location in the Romantic zone/old town with an ocean view and located on the beach. Walking distance to all the sites for first time visitors. Tons of nearby restaurants. Family friendly, but also separate pool for adults only. Friendly locals, happy to let us practice our Spanish. Plenty of chairs by the pool and beach. Pool side bar with 2 happy hours. Loved it. "
