"This was my third stay at Cesar Lanzarote in three years, and this stay, likes the others, did not disappoint. The hotel is in such a lovely quite setting, and all of the guests have plenty of space to do what they would like to do, despite the hotel itself not having that may rooms. "Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The all inclusive premium was great and offered a really good selection of popular drinks and nice food options. Our room was lovely and we really enjoyed the swim up pool but some areas felt like were getting tired and floor tiles were starting to crack in places. We really enjoyed the different restaurants, Oceana especially, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. We really enjoyed Portofino’s breakfast options but felt we were let down during evening service a couple of times and had to follow up with drinks (food came before drinks) and deserts were missed after ordering. It did feel like some restaurants and bars (with our stay being at the beginning October) were running on lower staff numbers, the waiters and waitresses on hand were doing a lot of running around and working exceptionally hard but we couldn’t help but think another 1 or 2 members of staff in each area would really help the existing staff and guests have a better experience. We enjoyed the spa but only visited once due it to being an additional charge to the all inclusive premium. We made use of the padel court and gym (at no extra cost) which were great. Location was lovely too for coastal walks / running and easy access to the port."

"After a couple of hick-ups with our room in the beginning that were sorted out well, we liked the room very much. We spent 2 weeks there while travelling the whole island with our rented car. We had a nice holiday despite the very strong winds on the island. We didn’t use the beaches for a long time like in other beach holidays but we travelled and seen almost everything in the whole island. Breakfast was a bit too boring for us and ended up eating mostly fruits which were in abundance and we bought dips and snacks from Aldi and Lidl not far from Yaiza. Overall we enjoyed the stay."
