Absolutely magical place!

Absolutely charming place! Owners are super friendly. Ultra clean room (even bathroom was spotless), striking décor in the room and corridors, beautiful garden full of vibrant plants. Absolutely magical place!

Sheridan Guest is a hidden gem! We felt so comfortable and welcomed—truly a home away from home! Everything was spotless, the breakfast was outstanding and the bus into the city was conveniently located across the street. If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would. Wonderful place to end our 2 week vacation.

Tom and Rowena are gorgeous hosts in this beautiful place in Leith. The breakfast options are aplenty, on top of a good small buffet of fruit, yoghurt and cold cuts. Our room was comfortable, clean and homely. The only downside was the bathroom and toilet were kinda tiny so just take it into account if you need more space. Would definitely stay again 10/10 recommend this to others - as it's within 3 minutes' walk of at least 3 different bus routes.

If the 14 days we traveled, this was our favorite place to stay. They let us check in early. We were given great explanations of the bus system and how to get around town. Also excellent dining recommendations. Breakfast was exceptional and varied. Our bed was comfortable and supportive. Everything was clean and beautifully kept. The garden is magnificent. Tom and Rowena the hosts are lovely people who really care about service . Highly recommend this for travelers. There are many stairs so if you have mobility issues, it will be challenging, but worth it.

Excellent Guesthouse

Fantastic guesthouse, superb service, wonderful breakfast, (especially liked the homemade sourdough bread), and a comfortable, clean, modern room with brilliant attention to detail. We would definitely recommend this gueshouse and would love to stay again.

Lovely accommodation

We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, given helpful information when requested, taken to our room which was perfect, enjoyed a good nights sleep followed by a lovely breakfast. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Such a lovely stay

My stay at the Sheridan Guest House was fantastic! The room was lovely, comfortable and immaculate. The amenities were better than described and the owners could not have been nicer. There were plenty of breakfast choices and everything was prepared splendidly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only downside is the need for bus transportation to any area with significant conveniences (although the bus stop could not have been closer and the buses ran frequently and well into the evening.)

A fantastic place to stay

A Great Welcome

We were greeted with a friendly, helpful and efficient welcome. The room was very clean and adequate for our needs, the ensuite was a little small but adequate. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and all cooked to perfection. The homemade bread was lovely.

Excellent value for money, situated 20 mins walk to Leith and 40 mins walk to centre of town, bus stop directly outside of property. Hosts very accomodating to our needs, room spacious and comfortable, excellent choice of breakfast options. Will stay again.

Very happy guests

A very enjoyable stay. Nothing was too much trouble for our friendly hosts Tom and Rowena who were able to advise us on the best places to visit and eat etc. We had everything we needed in our clean and comfortable room Breakfasts were great and our veggie diet was catered for handsomely. The property is on a frequent bus route into the city with a bus stop conveniently just over the road. We will definitely stay again if we return to Edinburgh.

Couldn't fault anything. Everything as it should be. Hosts Tom and Rowena are the perfect hosts. Room clean, comfortable, well stocked with everything you need when staying. Breakfasts to die for, wonderful. Bus stop almost outside the front door can take you into city easily and quickly. Best Guest house we have stayed in for a long time.

Sheridan Guest House is a very well maintained B&B in a good location. Top class fixtures and marvelous attention to detail. It is an easy walk to downtown, plus there's a bus line that stops right outside the door. The owners are very friendly and supportive, and we were very happy with our stay.
