We had dinner in the lounge bar and it was fabulous. The accommodation is basic, but the room was clean, the bed was comfy and there was plenty of storage for clothes. The price was excellent value.

Dedicated free parking at the back & a bus stop out front which takes you straight into Edinburgh until very late. The food was delicious & the locals friendly. Bedrooms have smart TV’s which is miles ahead of most hotels/inns. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone choosing to visit Edinburgh

The staff were fabulous , exceptional customer service The room was spacious and clean , everything provided for a comfortable stay tea and coffee my partner enjoyed the biscuits so thank you for those and lovely coffee machine was an unexpected treat The only complaint and not so much a complaint the bathroom is very cold maybe just needs a little heater or something the toilet seat was cold to sit on first thing and getting out the shower was a shock but lovely hot water and lovely spacious bathroom nice and clean with toiletries provided , would definitely stay again and will probably book again in the summer!! Great place with great staff and easy to find plenty of shops and not far from the city centre!

Excellent price for the proximity to the city centre, with the bus stop right outside the hotel. Very good cafe about 5 minutes walk away for breakfast and lunch . Room itself was perfectly nice as well

Ideal for visiting Edinburgh, bus stop near riccarton inn nice evening meal on site good breakfast options within walking distance we were in room 4 which needs a bit of tlc mattresses very soft and sagging in the middle on both beds, there was a hole in the wall which was covered bottom drawer in chest of drawers fell apart

Perfect in every way.

Would recommend, I was just passing through as a solo traveler needed a one night stay, and it was perfect for what I wanted a nice bed a very clean room and a very hot shower. The staff were great and could not do enough for me.
