Good location about 5min walk from Princess Street, spacious rooms, shower and bath in each bathroom plus separate toilet, which is always convenient. Due to COVID some limitations, but staff well organised to keep things going. Did not have meals included so not gonna comment, but looked alright with all the hotel’s’ classics available.

Breakfast was charged but no food was available to eat. We came downstairs to eat at our allocated timeslot and no food was available. We had to book elsewhere for our breakfast for the 2 day stay. We were also woken at 8am from the cleaners!

Very disappointing experience. Check in was a shambles. Queue of 10 people waiting to check in and only one member of staff available to do this, who halfway through went off to deliver some room service orders...same in the bar when ordering food, chaotic. Not enough staff to provide a good enough service unfortunately. Due to Covid there’s no housekeeping, so no emptying bins, removing glasses or providing clean towels unless specifically asking. Parking is a let down. The parking garage is a bin store and never seems to have available spaces. 3 cars came in at the same time and took an hour to get out due to the narrow one way ramp as an exit. Good location though.

Lack of service, To make extra profits !
Lack of staff made it very stressful. Nobody at reception to answer queries. One person covering the bar and had to wait 10-15 minutes for a drink. No parking available in hotel car park. Breakfast was served in a bag just a bacon roll. No alternative. Had to ask for semi skimmed milk, and was told it was already out. It was skimmed. Just an overall overworked team of three people (that I saw daily) trying to keep a Whole hotel full of guests going. When I told the hotel staff on checking out Of my concerns, I was told this is the “New Norm” since covid! I believe 1 extra member of staff would have made all the difference to our waiting times.
