A nice simple guesthouse to stay in Edinburgh that is close to good amenities that are walkable and close to bus routes. Friendly owner who went out of his way to allow us an earlier check in as we needed a jet lag nap and our flight had been changed.

Our stay at Menzie's was everything we wished for: nice and big rooms with all you need, good location (lots to explore around, but also good access to bus stations) and all of that for a very reasonable price. We really enjoyed our stay.

The owner communicated and checked in on us of when we were coming. Was at the door waiting for us and assisted on where we were staying. Make sure if you are staying here to get an on suite restroom if you do not want to share restrooms with anyone else. Will stay there again when we come back to visit.

If you’re just looking for a bed. This is a great place. If you want any space or amenities like a bathroom in your room or anything besides a twin bed then look somewhere else. Plus there is NO parking provided for this place despite what is said in the listing.
