"Outside of the main area but still within 15-20 minutes walking distance to the high street. Not super accessible by public transport it seemed and was on the opposite side of the train station. "

Rooms were bigger than expected which was nice! The parking was a bit of a pain as we arrived earlier around 11am. When we checked in we had to go back to the car park and pay for the hours we had already stayed, then we had to drive out and back in the car park to start the 24hr parking...

"As former graduates, we were naturally delighted to be able to stay once more on the campus of the University of Kent (at Canterbury), UKC. It's certainly developed the intervening 53 years! We were particularly impressed by how the University has been able to put key buildings into every available space, without making the site feel overcrowded. "Staff very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is being refurbished atm but our rooms were very nicely decorated (& clean), as was the hotel bar area. Free car parking on-site. Lovely building & grounds but still close to Canterbury town centre. Only possible downsides - refurb of restaurant not finished yet but hotel clearly communicated this before we went... besides, it's only 10 minute walk into town anyway which has lots of bars and restaurants. - tea & coffee in room but no...

"Stayed in the premier rooms .clean had everything i needed iron ironing board fam etc smelt clean on entry only thing felt missing was complimentry shower gel etc .shower luke warm in morning .entertainment good .breakfast excellent value in victoria dining room "

"Amazing looking, Staff were lovely, Not what I would dirty but with a closer look, not the cleanest. Sat in the breakfast room the wall was stained with coffee and the beautiful windows defo needed a scrub and tidy, Bathroom if room had the odd sign of previous guests. Grandeur of the place A1 and the grounds exceptional, lovely staff."
