"This was an amazing stay at this hotel. This is a boutique hotel with excellent rooms individually decorated in European style. The hotel itself has a classical french Vintage touch. Grand room allotted to me was was big enough in size. Breakfast is Ala-Carte but it is not a problem who do not want a big buffet type of spread that leads to waste of food items unnecessarily. "The staff at Maison Perumel were so helpful and friendly; they really made the stay special..The rooms are very comfortable and the food was exceptional! It is in the Heritage area of Puddichery so about a 15/20 minute walk from White Town and French Quarter but tuktuks are everywhere! I love the CGH ethos and definitely recommend Maison Perumel."

"Sheraton stay was lovely and special for a lot of reasons!! Although the beachfront rooms are not a thing here, kids would love this property - it has a gorgeous lawn for kids to play and nice outdoor play area! My 4 year old and 1 year old had lots of fun here. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable all the time. Food was delicious as well. I would definitely recommend this property for families especially with toddlers / younger kids."

"The staff were magnificent, all very helpful especially amen in the breakfast area. Food was great high quality with a good selection of European and Indian dishes. The facilities in the room were good with access to English language films and sport. "Overall nice place with all the basic stuff in good order. I found the check in process a bit cold and unwelcoming. One of the lights didn’t work but they were on it quick! They have a nice roof top restaurant with good food and cocktails. Their rooms and breakfast was pretty nice as well. Not too found of the busy location. "This hotel was great for a short stay. The hotel itself lacks a 4star luxury feeling, but it has more of a small boutique hotel feel. It's also a great location. It's a walkable distance to the boardwalk/ocean front, which was nice. At night, the area was lively and safe. But they rate themselves as MGM global brand and charge premium like a 5 star Hotels and that is where the problem is. If they charge 1000 - 2000 rupees, $20 - $50 per night, it is not bad. But anything more than $100 per night is too much for this place. I actually wanted to cancel my second night. But the hotel did not allow...
