"The hotel was beautiful, clean, well-maintained, and very conveniently located. We registered early (around noon) and were told that we would get a text once the room was ready but this never happened. I checked a second time with reception at 2:30 and the room was actually ready. Everything else was great."

"Loved this location very close to everything especially the Lincoln Centre. Our room was so tiny that l couldn’t stand behind the sink to do my hair or makeup. That was very annoying. The room was clean but again small with not much clothes space. The furniture should go into the trash. The bed was comfortable. I really liked it he lobby-very posh and the jazz music playing was great."

"The staff was great, but the front desk attendants all seemed like they were being inconvenienced to a mild degree. I happened to have stayed down in the lobby bar area working for a few hours, while waiting for a room, and had interactions with everyone working. Oddly, they all seemed a bit annoyed or inconvenienced. Hard to explain, but their energy wasn’t inviting. Otherwise the rest of the staff was great. And while my stay was very good, the other review item I scored lower was maintenance. This is mostly the finishes in the room that require some refresh work. The wallpaper had visible lines, the bathroom needs better lighting and some TLC. The carpet and corners need to be redone (or replace with non carpeted flooring). The room was fine, but it’s showing its age. And I fully make that remark knowing NYC hotels are in old buildings that have different maintenance needs. All in all, a good stay. Close to Central Park and all the good shopping :)"
