"Nostalgic farm experience. Big spacious. We stayed at the log cabin. Loved the furniture and decor and sheep and lamas out the front. Wasnt too keen on the kettle that works with a gas stove and didnt realise it has stairs."

"This place was amazing, especially the owner of this guesthouse kindly welcomed, prepared breakfast and had a farewell. The most I loved this place was a linen sheet of the bed and everything was excellent. I have traveled many countries during last 6 years and this was one of top three.
Thanks for her hospitality and hope that she has a good business with this pretty guesthouse. "

"Lodge is conveniently close-by to the n1, ample parking, very friendly staff and the small kitchen prepares nice food although not a huge variety but just enough. Breakfast is stunning. Should you require a bigger selection for supper then in about 5km radius there is more than enough restaurants to choose from."

"My stay got off to a bad start and never really recovered. At check-in, the front desk staff made it feel like I wasn’t welcome — no warmth, no courtesy, just a cold, dismissive attitude that set a poor tone for the entire visit.
The room itself was okay — clean and comfortable enough — but very dimly lit. The lighting made the space feel gloomy and far less inviting than it should have been.
Checkout was more efficient and polite, which I appreciated, but by then the damage had been done....

"It was both a two day, one night business and social visit to Cape Town.
The scenery is beautiful & the architecture stunning!
The cycling & hiking trails were a pleasant surprise.
We enjoyed both restaurants.
There was no time to fit in a wine tasting but we will definitely be back for an extended stay."
"The staff at this property are phenomenal!!! They exhibit professionalism, they are knowledgeable, they are caring and empathetic all while treating you like family. I had an unfortunate situation where I had an accident in the parking lot. They did everything to assist me throughout the process. I thank God I stayed here especially being my 1st time in Capetown. Please give them all a raise!!!"
"Great property. The entey road is a dirt road however at the property there was paved parking near the apartment. The apartment was spacious . It had netflix and prime . The kitchen had the basic cooking utensils and full sized fridge/freezer along with washing up liquid. Bathroom was a decent size and had towels included. They had cleaners come in regularly to deep clean the apartment"
"I only stayed one night but I will definitely return for longer stays. The owner-manager could not have been kinder or more helpful as I was there for doctors' office visits at the Panorama Medicentre, a short walkable 1 km away. The bed and one bedroom suite were the most comfortable I have stayed in for quite sometime. The breakfast (included) was homemade eggs, bacon, toast and they even had decaf coffee for me. I love Paperbark Manor and will come again."
