"Owner was rude before we even got to the property (sent me a video telling me she was fed up of lazy people and came across very aggressive). When we arrived at the property it was in poor condition. There was black mold in the bedrooms, missing paint on the walls which were barely covered by paintings. It said it could sleep 12 people but it barely fit 8 of us. There was a limit on the time we could go into the garden and use the hot tub. Also there was a camera pointed directly at the hottub which was incredibly creepy. I had contacted expedia to get some sort of refund but the owner was ignoring all of their correspondence. DO NOT go here... it's not worth it. "

"The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Bolton town centre in a quiet location next to a church. The rooms are next to the pub and restaurant, which can be accessed by an entrance out back. If you prefer to come and go without going through the pub, you are given a key to a side entrance. My room was clean and spacious and the bed large and comfy. The bathroom was modern and clean. The restaurant has a good menu. I didn’t have time for breakfast, but it looked and smelled very good! Parking is free in the pub/hotel car park just across the road. The location is perfect, away from the centre but only a short drive to all amenities. If you like walking then it's great for that. I would stay again, especially for the price."

"The Nest is a great self-contained, first floor, two-room apartment (kitchen-living and bedroom-bathroom). It has been decorated and fitted out with modern and comfortable fixtures and fittings and is warm, quiet and spotlessly clean. The welcome tray of a few little treats, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge was a nice touch too. I'll certainly book again!"
