"Amazing place to stay. Mandy and Chris were EXCEPTIONAL hosts! We have stayed in a number of VRBOs and this took the cake! Quick responses, eager to meet any needs, checking in half way to make sure we were ok, kind. A WELL stocked home with all the things one might need. We mentioned to Mandy a few things we thought would make things even better, but nothing that would make or break the trip. She asked for those suggestions as she and Chris want to improve as they are able along the way. The wrap around porch was awesome! Contained both kids and dogs. Completely screened in, so bugs were not an issue! lots of space. Two full fridges in main living area, 3 if you add the apartment above the garage. Kitchen had all you needed! They even supplied a tray of fun foods and snacks as well as hot cocoa and coffee (ground and pods). Great beds and clean, comfortable sheets. extra striped towels for the hot tub users. Firepit is beautiful. They just updated much of the landscape. We enjoyed that several nights. They even put out sticks for smores. Many lovely touches that said "we are glad you are here!" Thank you Mandy and Chris. If it works out again for us all to come again, we will!!"

"Great cabin in a beautiful area of Michigan. Lake Charleviox Beach is walkable and very nice. Good location to go to Charleviox, Elk Rapids, Mackinac Island and Petoskey."

"Cute, clean and cozy cottage with a lovely yard and view. Quick drive to downtown Charlevoix and other areas. Good value for the location. Beds were comfortable and check in/out was easy. One thing to note is that the lake isn’t really swimmable or fishable from the shore of the house which was a bit disappointing, but there is a rowboat, canoe and kayaks provided, and several beaches nearby. Nice large fire pit with ample outdoor seating."

"Meticulously maintained property (inside and out) near many of Charlevoix's attractions. We had a stay with 4 adults and a child, and the accommodations well suited all our needs. The walking path cut into the woods behind the home added a very unique, fun experience. Many great things to say, do read other's reviews! but one unique item we found as a nice feature was a quick 2-mile drive (or walk!) to the Cable Ferry that is free for walking passengers (only 5 for car) and a decent restaurant / bar set up on the other side! Can't wait to see upper MI again and stay at this property in the fall!"

"If you are looking for a rustic, eclectic place with lots of outdoor space, beds for 18 individual people, a great collection of vinyl records, minimal plans to cook during your stay, and easy access to the lake, this might be your place. But if you are looking for modern space with central air conditioning, a dishwasher, washer and dryer, good lighting, and a large dining space for your group, maybe keep searching.While Nate was very quick to respond to our needs (drinking water, more window units for the main and middle houses that only had one each for the upstairs of the main and the entire middle house), the heat in those spaces tainted the week for several of us. The oven in the guest cottage was unusable because it overheated and wouldn’t adjust. The claw foot tub in the main house was scary to use because it’s not flat and surrounded by curtains and nothing to grab if you slip. The property is pretty and we enjoyed the space, especially the beach. It’s very convenient to the ferry, which you can walk on for free to go across for a meal at The Landing. We’ve rented several times on VRBO and been lucky. This wasn’t really one of those times for us."

"Was very happy with our stay… Mike was very nice and provided us all the information we needed… The property views were beautiful. The area in either Charlevoix or Boyne had so much to do. We took our pet everywhere with us and he enjoyed the beach. It was really nice that we were able to bring our fur baby."
