"The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! "

"Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Tom made sure our check in process was smooth. And Joy gave us the run down on all the great shops, restaurants and areas to see! And the rooms were clean and sound proof! We will definitely be back! "
"We needed a room for one night and very little was available in the area - we were pleasantly surprised by the large, clean room with microwave and fridge, 2 large mattresses and plenty of storage space. Beds were OK, the place was not beautiful but practical, and check-in guy was helpful. Nice location, easy access to Foxwoods, Stonington and Mystic. Saved us a lot of money, very well worth the price."
