"I had a wonderful stay in the Club Room at the Daewoo Hotel Hanoi, and it truly exceeded my expectations. This is my 7th or 8th stay with them in the club room. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed. The Club Room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable, with elegant décor and great views of the city. The bed was exceptionally cozy, and everything—from cleanliness to in-room amenities—was thoughtfully prepared. One of the highlights of the stay was access to the Club Lounge. The atmosphere there was perfect for both relaxing and informal meetings. The selection of breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails was impressive, with a good mix of local and international options. The staff in the lounge were especially courteous and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel’s facilities, including the pool and fitness center, were well-maintained and added to the overall experience. Its location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around Hanoi. Overall, my stay at Daewoo Hotel Hanoi was comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. "Oh what a disappointing experience. Would NOT recommend and WILL NOT come back here.. They have ZERO understanding of what Hospitality means or what it takes to be in the hospitality industry Positives: - Booked this hotel primarily because of a water view… - the rooms are decent but not worth the colossal price being charged for them - the view from the room was good, of the lake opposite - The bell boys and the guards are very kind and helpful Negatives: - My shower door got stuck and i could not even open the shower door. Couldn’t reach the phone and was afraid that i’d break the door if i pushed too hard. Took me a good half hour to somehow finagle myself little by little. - The worst part was that when i went to the reception and told them about what happened and that they need to get this fixed before someone else has the same experience, the person at the reception, her name was ‘Tu Le’.. she started laughing and mocking me. No apologies were given, not a single sorry from them.. was just made fun of… maybe it’s a language barrier but this hasn’t happened in any of my travels - Everything at the hotel is overpriced. Just walk a little but around and there are lots of places to eat, coffee, ATM and convenience stores - You get 2 small little packets of powdered milk, maybe a few teabags and coffee and that is IT ! Good luck trying to make a decent cup of coffee or tea in the room - The rim of the toilet water hasn’t been cleaned in AGES from the looks of it "

"We first stayed in a regular room and didn’t like the lack of windows and it needed updating . The second stay we were upgraded to a suite and it was so lovely, spacious, balcony, clean and so comfortable. We really appreciated it, thank you to the lovely staff, especially Hanna and Ahnna. Nice to be able to wash and dry clothes."

"Room and amenities were clean and well kept. Staff were very helpful and polite, even with some staff's lack of English, they assisted very well in providing us the information or items we needed. Room was spacious and matched the photos and description. I found a few items listed that did not exist, e.g. Poolside Bar, but this could be a summer thing (we went in winter). Nice local cafe's close by, as well as some nice eateries a short walk away. Was happy to stay here away from the business of the Old Quarter. Would definitely go back there if I visit Hanoi again. It was a bit out of the way, but short "Grab" ride provided us an easy route to the touristy stuff. "
