"The hotel is a quintessential representation of an English countryside manor. Grounds are gorgeous, we loved our huge room and the pretty, old school bathroom, and the breakfast was high quality and delicious."
"Very thoughtfully prepared cozy space. We enjoyed staying there with our two daughters. The o communication was excellent and check in and out very seamless. Location is superb if desiring to stay in Burton in the water. Beautiful, quaint town. Only complaint was lack of cooling. Luckily able to cool off at night with windows open. We really enjoyed our stay. "
"Cute little cottage. Not too fancy, but definitely does the trick. Make sure to make note of your check-in instructions (code to the lock box for the key) before you arrive as cell service is very spotty and no access to wifi until you enter the unit. Nice neighbourhood. 45 minute walk to bourton on the water. "

"The property was clean, well-supplied, and the location was excellent! We particularly enjoyed walking through the Greystones and learning about the long history of the area."
Characterful 16th Century Cottage, off street parking, 2 Min Walk to Village!
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage is in a perfect location. A few steps away from the river walk but just tucked away around the corner enough that you are away from the busy main area. We used it as a base for some long walks out into the countryside (especially liked the Windrush Way hike) and easy walk to places for dinner. Walking to both Lower and Upper Slaughter is a must! There were only two of us. Would be a bit cosy if you actually had five people in there. We became accustomed to catching the bus to go to Moreton in Marsh and from there you will find a lot of bus/train connections to explore other areas. Went on a day visit to Chipping Camden which is lovely. The church there is a must see! On a rainy afternoon, we visited the Motoring Museum and it was a very pleasant surprise. We were amazed at how big it actually is. When we left, we took the train from Moreton in Marsh to London Paddington which took just over an hour. There is no train station in Bourton on the Water. "
