"Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating."

"My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon at this bnb in Bellano. It was clean, cozy and beautiful from the moment we walked in the door. Massimo was fabulous with communication. Nothing better than drinking your coffee on the patio with a gorgeous view of lake como!! Highly recommend!! "

Besides the charming apartment which has the best views of Como and the mountains, they have decorated the apartment with a selection of books and travel guides. They are very thoughtful for the guests and have a well stocked kitchen including risotto rice, pasta and other cooking essentials, tea, coffee, butter."
