What an incredible experience. One person that I would like to personally mention is Alvin, working at the breakfast restaurant. Alvin went above and beyond each of our mornings at the hotel, crafting beautiful fruit bowls for our family based on the fruit we picked from the plates on the first day. Nothing worked. The air-conditioning at the swimming pool area was not functioning. One of our bathroom sinks was clogged. The coffee machine was disgustingly dirty and had to be changed. For two hours I tried to call the concierge, guest services and housekeeping but nobody answered. It was a comedy of errors. To top it all we were 4 in the room and I requested a soap and was given one measly one inch soap. Never again especially with the exorbitant price.

There are no words that would do this property and staff justice. This is a 20 star hotel - exquisite environment with helpful, kind and caring staff. I have never experienced this level of service and care. Ritchie Andreasdď made our stay perfect. She is truly a gem and the Waldorf is lucky to have her. All the staff working at this hotel had one mandate, “customers first”. My family and I are truly grateful for everyone at the Waldorf.

Extremely dissatisfied with our stay and disappointed that this was a Waldorf Astoria property. We had two rooms booked and neither room was ready until about 8pm, leaving us at the lobby to wait…they gave us a cup of tea as compensation for the inconvenience. Our booking as advertised was for a room of over 3000 sq ft and instead they gave us two connecting rooms that were in total about 1200 sq ft. There was mildew odor in both rooms and active water leaks in the walls. They said they could not move us as they had no other rooms. I have photos of about 8 areas where there are yellow stains from ongoing leaks in the walls. Upon departure, with our luggage, we were confronted by one of the lobby staff to ensure we had not forgotten to let them know whether we had eaten anything from the minibar snacks. What a disaster of a stay. Please spend your money elsewhere.
