"2 families stayed whilst visiting Alton Towers. We couldn’t have stayed any closer, The Old Barn literally on the doorstep. The property have a very homely feel which made relaxing easy. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. We could even all sit together around the large table in the kitchen to eat together. Beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet. "We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "

"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "
