Lovely

The only observation I would like to inform you of was that the restraunt was very crowded at breakfast time during our stay and considering Vivid I would have expected this aspect to be managed better.

Cheery and welcoming inn, set amongst the historical backdrop of the birthplace of the industrial revolution.

My family and I had a short two night stay at this hotel. But we wish we could have stayed a lot longer. Good central position parking nearby in public carpark but a bit difficult to drop of large amounts of luggage outside the property. Towel left behind the door from previous guests. Shower above the bath but no non-slip bathmat this would have been helpful. Food in the restaurant excellent.

Very comfortable and clean. Staff were excellent, pleasant and efficient. Accommodation is separate to the hotel so the room was nice and quiet. Meal at the pub was delicious and breakfast in the morning was really generous and cooked beautifully. Would definitely recommend.

Reasonable option central to a lot of the sights in the area. Once the issue of being given a smaller room than was booked was rectified the stay was satisfactory.

Parking was very close and easy drive in and out. Staff very friendly.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean and tidy, close to local shops.
