"Idéal !! Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille avec 3 ado courant août. Le lieu est vraiment chouette, en campagne, tranquille et pas loin des grands axes routiers pour voyager entre la côte et les gorges du Verdon. La maison, la terrasse ombragée et la piscine ont été très très appréciés ! Enfin, nous avons été très bien accueillis, les infos sont claires et simples pour venir, aucun souci!Bref, une adresse à nos amis !"

19th Century Provencal Bastide and Infinity pool

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful property in a great location. The house and pool are well maintained by the local agent who is readily available to answer questions and provide assistance for issues that arise regarding the property. The house is large with bedrooms and bathrooms as advertised. The entrance road is long (1 km) and quite rough (mostly unpaved). We were not advised ahead of time that the water required boiling prior to drinking. Over all a wonderful week."

"Towels were not replaced at all during our entire stay nor was the room cleaned, I expected better. Check in was abysmal, we received an email two days prior to say we would get a code to enter the hotel and the room but nothing! It was not just us, a steady stream of people came to the door and couldn’t get in! Very poor! We only saw one member of staff when we had to go to the sister hotel across the road to ask for toilet paper! "

"Clean room, lovely staff, easy parking, nice breakfast. This is the budget brand so expect a small room. In our room, there was a small closet for the toilet and the sink, shower stall and beds are in the same room. Okay for a couple (which we are) but if you are traveling with a friend or your child, there is no privacy for a shower in the standard twin room. As I mentioned, best for a couple. The breakfast was nice and a good value."

"Once upon a time, this must have been a wonderful hotel, but it is no longer close to a five-star standard. The rating must have been granted long ago and clearly has not been reassessed recently. There is an overriding sense that the property is cutting every corner to manage costs, and it is evident that their focus is on the restaurant and local clientele rather than their overnight guests. While the bed and linens were excellent, the room itself was in dire need of renovation. The layout was awkward, poorly lit, and there were cobwebs. The furniture was neglected, watermarked, and faded—a far cry from the 'charming antiques' they pretended to be, looking instead like castoffs from a flea market. The bathroom was outdated and suffered from poor drainage. The surrounding grounds, which could be spectacular, are in desperate need of maintenance, with much of the outdoor furniture either weathered or broken. While the dinner was excellent, the main course portion was comically sparse. On our first night, we were relegated to a secondary room lacking any ambiance, rather than being seated in the beautiful conservatory dining room. This first-impression experience discouraged us from returning to dine for the remainder of our stay."

"The property is very nice and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and lovely pool. The surrounding area is very picturesque and Correns is pretty with a lovely Auberge. A quiet and relaxing spot from which to explore Provence. Patrick was very responsive to any questions. Would definitely recommend. If you arrive late in the evening make sure you have some provisions then shop at the Intermarche in Barjols the next day. If you’re prone to being bitten by mosquitoes take lots of repellent!"

"My room smell really bad when I walked it, moldy and lots of humidity. I turned the AC on immediately and by time I came back from dinner was hoping it was gone but the actual AC was very old and bad smell was coming out of it I have to turned it off. Is a shame bse the property is nice but the rooms need a makeover for sure! "
