"We came all the way from Canada. Everything was amazing. Our host was lovely and gave us great tips for travel. Her dogs are adorable and checked in on us daily. The Villa was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed and more. It is next door to the host but there is ample privacy. The pool was lovely. The location was a short drive to town and other nearby towns. Can’t recommend this stay enough. "

"The villa was quite pleasant with a lovely pool and splendid views. We had a nice stay and no real complaints other than the whole place was a little tired and looking like “end of season” condition. Parasols broken and lashed up with shot cords. No cushions for outside plastic patio furniture. Broken shower head (quickly replaced). Just a bit basic and scruffy sums it up. Two things did irritate. Firstly, the host seemed quite annoyed because we arrived 1/2 hour early. Offered to wait in the car until appointed hour but no reply. Secondly , for two nights there was very loud music and drunken shouting from next door villa. Not the owners fault but very unwelcome. "

"This was our second visit to La Gaillardiere and it doesn't disappoint. Four bedrooms (two en-suite) lends itself to larger families or two-family holidays. Bedding and towels are changed on a weekly basis and even the wonderful pool is cleaned weekly. The owner is a terrific host and nothing is too much trouble. This property comes highly recommended by us."

"This property was perfect for our holiday. It provided peace and quiet and was only approx 1-2 hour drive to main attraction locations, ie St Tropez, Toulon etc. The house has everything you will need; pool, cooking facilities, barbecue etc. The layout of the house is unique; one of the bedrooms is downstairs and is accessed either from outside the property or via the veranda (which can be locked), but it worked well for us."

"A very clean and very spacious Provençal house, private, quiet and in nature, yet walking distance to Salernes. We loved it there, it was a very relaxing place with a lovely atmosphere. Excellent airco in bedrooms, lovely pool, somewhat overgrown and therefore charming garden. Yannick has always perfectly contactable, responded promptly to questions and is very caring and kind. The perfect host! He heroically removed a wasp nest himself. We’d love to come back. Merci beaucoup Yannick! "

"We stayed for 10 nights with our Labrador.Fully secure property with parking on site. The accommodation was lovely far better and bigger than we expected. Everything needed was there.The host lives within the grounds and is available if needed but not intrusive in any way. She has a very friendly dog Millie. The property is in a quiet location within walking distance to a village/town which has everything you could need. Supermarket within walking distance. The pool, we where in every day. A much needed cool off. Bliss... Our dog was made to feel welcome, given the freedom of the property. Ideally positioned for visiting the areas within the Var/ Haute Provence district. Would definitely stay again."
