"Pool was out of order, with no notice via email or on website (and the pool was a big part of our decision to stay there). No washcloths or shampoo in the room. Room carpet and seating uphostery is stained and kinda gross. Weirdly, when we checked in, two of four dresser drawers were open about 4 inches. The rest of the room seemed appropriately prepared. Restaurant food was ok, but the restaurant staff were pleasant, attentive and polite. Continental breakfast was fine - good selection of breakfast foods, but the eggs and bacon were not great. Overall, it was a disappointing stay."

"The walls and floors/ceilings were paper thin; you'll hear everything. The person who checked us in at the front desk didn't seem to have much knowledge of the hotel; we asked for a non-adjoining room, and she gave us an adjoining one. We were on the riverside of the hotel. There were people, mostly teenagers, partying loudly in the pool and jacuzzi until they were kicked out at closing (10 p.m.). The hotel was older and shabbier than expected from the reviews and pictures. I'm not sure why it's gotten such wildly positive reviews."

"Everything was great, exactly what we expected. Amenities were limited but we weren't charged for them either! We also have dogs who stayed free!"
