"Hotel Tropis is great! It is clean and the rooms.are comfortable. 4 minute walk to train station. Short walk to city centre and the beach. The pool is great and relaxing environment. The breakfast has everything, and the staff is very nice. Absolutely loved, I would definitely return."

"At check-in we asked about the beach and pool. They said since we booked through Hotels.com (Expedia), both had daily surcharges. I showed them the listing on Hotels.com, which had no surcharges listed, except for dinner. They insisted that beach and pool cost extra. "il titolare ha chiesto il pagamento il giorno stesso dell arrivo come la tassa di soggiorno. mai successo. bisogna precisare che se non hai la macchina sei fuori dal mondo nessun servizio navetta. Da quello che ci è stato detto è cambiata la gestione ma è peggiorato. Piscina sporca con doccia esterna non funzionante servizio bar non esiste se non dei frigoriferi dove una coca costa €3.50 per il resto non so non ci siamo azzardati a prendere altro. la struttura è carina ma ha tanto da migliorare."

"Wunderschönes und gepflegtes Haus mit sehr nettem hilfsbereiten Personal und Besitzern. Der Ausblick ins Land ist grandios, das Haus bietet perfekte Ruhe. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und ausreichend groß. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Sonderwünsche wie Käse oder Schinken und Ei werden erfüllt. Wir haben 4mal zu Abend gegessen, jedesmal gab es ein anderes 4-Gänge Menu, das incl. Getränke und Digestiv nur 25€ pro Person kostete. Insgesamt köstlich! Die Anfahrt...

"The hotel & staff exceeded our expectations at Sui Generis! We absolutely loved that it was boutique and intimate yet with a luxury feel. The breakfast every morning was amazing and the room was very spacious! The two cleanings a day was such a treat. The hotel will also provide you pool & beach towels to use which was very nice. It is also just a 5-6 minute walk to the lively city centre. I would highly recommend them for any visit to Tropea, we would definitely stay here again :)"
