My husband and i stayed for 7 nights and we absolutely loved everything anout this place...the beautiful gardens ...the pool ..spectacular views from our sea view room ...the refreshing beach at Parghelia ...amazing sunsets...comfy beds..quiet place...good breakfast and dinner was great too...friendly lind staff...thank you for making our stay a memorable one ..we highly recommended il villagio pizzuta to everyone lookimg yo fet away from the tourist sopt of tropea and enjoy and relax in this stunning place 👌

This is a very unique hotel, it has a real 70s vibe however, don't get me wrong it also has a real charm. From the elevator down to the beach, to the tropical plants, to the hand paintings to the live music at night. Very quaint. Dinners and breakfasts were good as well. I did find they didn't speak much English and catered more to older German clients. Oh and it does have a nice view of Stromboli at night

Outdated rooms, only three electrical sockets in the room, from which one was from TV, one in the bathroom and one behid the bed, hardly accessible. Receptionist and entertainment crew could speak English, while cleaning staff and waiters not, only few words in German, otherwise Italian only. Breakfasts were simple, every day the same selection. Despite of location, only bananas, tomatoes and lettuce were available. There was an outside swimming pool, swimming cap mandatory. Parking was bit far from the apartments with narrow entrance and one had to call the reception when entering and leaving to open the gate. There was a beach below the hotel, accessible either via shuttle bus or by a lift, however one had to still walk 5-10 min. The beach had coarse sand and pebbles, sun beds cost 15-18 EUR depending on position from the water. In the evening, there was loud music playing until 23:00 or even bit longer, not optimal for people who like to go to bed early. Most of the guests were Italian and German pensioners, younger people were not getting too much attention from the personnel. All in all, it was too expensive for what we got. Not recommended.

Vackert boende nära Tropea

Det är så fantastiskt fint! Utsikten från poolen ner mot havet är magnifik! Trädgården med alla olika fruktträd och blommor är så vacker. Alla växter är utmärkta med små skyltar med namn på blommorna/träden. Väldigt vänlig personal som var så hjälpsam och trevlig. Bra frukost som vi åt ute med den magiska utsikten. Gångavstånd in till Tropea. Egen parkering. Hiss ner till en jättefin strand. Så vackert! Kan verkligen rekommendera att bo här!

Settimana di Ferragosto fantastica

Cercavo un luogo tranquillo dove trascorrere la settimana di ferragosto. In genere si incontra solo confusione in quel periodo e invece a La Pizzuta ho trovato pace, tranquillità, un oasi verde, spiaggia molto bella e personale gentilissimo. Consiglialtissimo per famiglie con bambini. Ci tornerei.

Villaggio x soggiorno tranquillo in un giardino .

ottima location, bellissimo giardino tropicale con banani, ficus, bouganville e oltre 70 tipi di piante esotiche e non tenute magnificamente . animazione x niente invadente . bella spiaggia (non fine) con servizio bar( non della struttura) e non sovraffollata come a Tropea o altre spiagge nelle vicinanze. La colazione abbondante ,anche se un poco variata. Bella piscina molto pulita. Forse età media dei villeggianti un po’ altina , consigliato x famiglie con bimbi piccoli e coppie non giovanissime. Se vogliamo trovare qualche difetto ,consiglierei di abbassare il prezzo del pranzo o cena x i clienti del b&b : 40 € a testa mi sembra un po’ esagerato visto che il menù è fisso, anche se buono e abbondante, come riferito da altri ospiti con pensione completa. consiglio camere vicino all’ascensore per la discesa in spiaggia , anche se un po’ strettine.

Villagio La Pizzuta feels like a vacation village. Staff is great, location is superb, and great job with the garden-like scenery. They hold activities (music, dance, dinner parties, etc) for guests. While not fancy, the included breakfast is plentiful. Dinner can be expensive, even if it is convenient to eat on the premises rather than take your car to eat out. Our bedroom (for 3 people) was on the tiny side, and it did not have wifi: nothing was done about it after we reported the situation two times. It appears that most guests are smokers, which makes you feel avoid main places of action, and this is a pity. They should have designated smoking areas, simply out of respect for non-smoker, paying customers.

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel. Felt like a warm Italy family hotel, we liked it. Nice beach access via a lift and 5 min walk. The bed was uncomfortable, hard. 20 minutes walk to Tropea. We used the hotel transfer from airport. One way ok, but back we ride in an old private car with broken back window. Probably better to use the taxi service or train. Overall very nice stay.

Pobyt rodzinny na 3 noclegi.Położenie hotelu rewelacyjne w cudownym ogrodzie z pięknym widokiem na morze.Windą zjeżdza się na plażę gdzie można podjechać melaxem lub przejść 500 metrów pieszo.Pokoje lepiej wybrać dalej od basenu szczególnie jak się ceni ciszę.Jedzenie dobre,sniadania bardziej na słodko,ale można się najeść.Blisko do miasta Tropea perełki , którą warto zobaczyć.

nice hotel close the beach

very nice place with a beatiful swimming pool. Nice the private Beach ( but you have to pay for it and there was no bar service so you didn't have the chance to buy ice cream, or sandwich or simply water). WIFI free connection didn't work

COME SEMPRE

Soggiorno in questo villaggio ogni anno nel periodo di Agosto oramai da quasi 5 anni con mia moglie e mia figlia piccola...ho potuto assistere concretamente nel tempo a come la struttura si sia evoluta e migliorata di continuo nel corso di questi anni a partire dalla reception dove riscontro di volta in volta la cura e la premura oltre che la disponibilità nell'accoglienza e nella gestione degli ospiti, passando per l'animazione sempre adeguata, mai invadente e misurata alle circostanze ed alle esigenze di noi utenti e il mini club dove mia figlia si diverte insieme ad altri bimbi e dove sono sicura che ha le attenzioni ed il controllo che meritano. Le camere sono dotate di ogni comfort, TV, minibar, e sono dislocate in vari punti del villaggio, io personalmente ho trovato il mio comfort nelle camere di fronte il parcheggio per via della tranquillità e dello spazio ampio che garantiscono oltre che ad una maggiore privacy. Il cibo è sempre di ottima qualità con una grande varietà di pietanze, inoltre le serate (di gala o a tema) che si organizzano sistematicamente consentono di provare e di variare sempre le tipologie di piatti sperimentando nuovi gusti e sapori. La spiaggia è incantevole, attrezzata, in sicurezza grazie alla presenza del bagnino e la piscina sempre pulita grazie anche alla costante cura da parte dello staff nel far rispettare (grazie a Dio) le norme base essenziali di igiene tra cui l'uso della cuffia e l'obbligo di fare la doccia prima di entrare in piscina
