"No pool & outside areas could use improvement"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The complimentary use of the e-bikes was great and we loved being able to explore on them. The the guys that took care of the beach chairs were fantastic. They were all polite and hardly ever stopped. We can’t wait to return again. "

"I literally stepped on a live cockroach in the room, which had several broken things such as the ice tray. The ice bucket itself had spots of rust. The bedsheet had been put on inside out and was not fitted properly. There was hair in the sink upon arrival in the room. It was just as despondent as one might think a hotel in Montgomery, Alabama it was going to be, but I thought staying at the Hilton property would negate this fact somewhat. The only thing going for this place is the amazing staff. But that is literally the only thing. "

"Staff were kind and helpful. The overall experience was good. The only complaints I have are that the lazy river/pool was not heated as described and was actually quite cold and the rooms were not the cleanest. The common areas of the hotel were clean looking and the important parts of our room such as bed and shower were clean but the room was dirty in general. Less important areas such as doors and walls appeared like they had not been wiped in quite some time. We still had a good experience and would consider it again if going to the same area. "
