"This place is perfect for a solo traveler on a budget. This is my favorite area in Berlin, and it’s close to everything you need. Restaurants, shopping, the subway, and the best store in the world, Kadewe!!! I’ve been coming to this area for years and I’m glad that I found this hotel within my budget in the area. It was clean, and perfect for 1 person. The rooms are small, but cozy and very clean. It was quiet at night and off the street so there was no noise. The staff is very friendly, spoke English, and always was helpful and kind. The breakfast was ok, I’ve had bigger (and more expensive), there’s a bit of everything so the variety was nice. I will say though that the guests at breakfast were very rude, so if you’re not ready for it best be prepared. I got a lot of dirty looks, people cutting in front of me, and also a guest thought I worked there and very rudely whistled at me to clean up his table. I laughed and flipped him off, what a rude jerk. Anyway, the hotel is perfect for solo travelers and I would stay here again in a heart beat. Thanks for making my long stay there a great one Ibis!!!!"
