"The staff were super friendly, which makes wanting to come back easier- even the waitresses, cashiers and bartenders were friendly. The indoor waterpark was super fun for all ages and not over packed for Mother’s Day weekend. A little sad that we missed going to the outside water area (didn’t realize it wasn’t opened yet). The beds are super comfy. The resort is clean and well maintained. My family and I plan to come back again."

"The room had a large amount of hairs (shaved hairs) in the bathroom on the floor behind the door. I stayed there over 2 weeks ago and have still not received my deposit back. It still shows as pending on my bank side. The staff states it just takes a while for it to complete. It was not thoroughly cleaned after the last guest. I won’t stay here again, that is for certain!"

"It’s an older hotel, but the room was kept very clean. The staff were neither good nor bad—they weren't particularly friendly or smiling, just very businesslike, though they were efficient. I was shocked to find there was no hairdryer in the room, especially since they told me they had to "look for a spare." I’ve never stayed at a hotel that didn't have a hairdryer in every room. Also, for some reason, the fridge had been pulled out from its usual spot and wouldn't work even when plugged in. Since we arrived late and were exhausted, we just decided to give up and accept it for what it was."

"The hallways were dingy, 1st room smelled like cheap disinfectant, 2nd room a bit better. Room was cold, heat brought it up, but no way to turn off the fan, which ran all night. Sheets were scratchy. TV didn't connect, so couldn't watch a show before going to sleep. Breakfast was pretty good, but the coffee was like used motor oil. Stay at Motel 6, and eat a good breakfast at Black Bear. Money ahead."
