Visiting in a heatwave, it perhaps wasn't ideal to be in one of the south facing bay window rooms with a sea view as it got quite hot, but any other time of year would be fine.

"To say this place is 1 star would be too generous.Turned up to front door to be greeted by 2 guests comparing bites they got from their beds and be told leave your valuables in the car as it would be safer.Your and said air conditioning but what we got was 3 open windows.Mattress was disgusting as was bathroom."
"The hotel and gardens are beautiful - immaculate garden perfect for a pre dinner cocktail. Was very impressed with the decor and high standard of furnishings - should be a wedding venue or offer cream teas. We had an amazing dinner - cannot fault the food or drink!! "

"Another nice stay, although only one night. Staff really friendly and helpful, especially the young man who checked us in and lady who took our order at breakfast.
Room clean and comfortable with lovely view of pier and beach. Hospitality tray with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits.
Breakfast really nice, plenty of choice.
It was a really hot night and air conditioning wasn’t working, however a small tower fan had been put in room, but didn’t really cool it down!

The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. "I rented this property to celebrate my 40th with 12 of my closest friends for the bank holiday weekend. The house has great space for entertaining for many guests and has stunning views of the sea from the house.I would happily stay here again if I was to visit Deal (in warmer climates) as the garden space was amazing but it was too cold for us to bbq and dine outside so we used the indoor dining room which was also very nice. Be warned to pack warmer clothes (which I failed to do!) as you are right next to the North Sea and also Deal doesn't have uber for you city folks, so you need to pre-book taxis. The house and the town have a lot to offer for a short break away."
"The Warren is a beautiful Georgian house close to the centre of Deal. It made a perfect base to explore this lovely town. The hosts were very helpful before our arrival, suggesting some lovely restaurants and places to visit. The house is nicely decorated with some quirky touches and the place was extremely clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The small garden makes a lovely place to have breakfast, or an evening meal, when it is warm. Being in the old centre of Deal, parking can be tricky. We had to park quite a way from the property. All in all, we had a very enjoyable week and would be very happy to return to the Warren. "
