"I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....

Pretty coastal fisherman’s cottage less than a minute walk from Kingsdown Beach.

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as described. The kitchen was very well equipped, bedrooms comfortable, great shower, nice little garden for the dog. It was lovely being so close to the beach and two really nice pubs. We had a lovely walk into Deal. The road was surprisingly busy with cars going to and from the pub. But we were blessed with great weather so understandable people were heading to the beach! Customer service also extremely quick to respond to queries."

"18 people from 2 families over 3 generations + dogs. We had a wonderful time. The weather was brilliant allowing us to make full use of the outdoor facilities. It was a lovely surprise to find the tennis court had been mown and the lines painted - it was well used. The huge trampoline was also well used. The garden was immaculate but with interesting nooks and crannies. The fencing was secure enabling us to let the dogs to run freely. We found the Keepers Cottages staff very friendly and helpful (and on the end of the phone when needed) and we would certainly trust them to provide us with a lovely holiday venue in the future."

"We loved this cottage for our family and our visit to the South coast. The house was perfectly set up for a family, with a beautiful outside space, and a short walk to the rocky beach. Our kids (4 and 8) loved the twin bed room, with reading nook, a great collection of kids games, puzzles and books. Comfortably slept six of us, and we particularly enjoyed the footpaths to walk to Walmer and Deal Castle and the Dover cliffs. Will note the cottage is pet friendly -- we do not have a pet, but we did find dog hair on the area rugs, worth noting if you have an allergy. Overall wonderful stay!"

"Poppy cottage is pretty, clean, well equipped and very comfy for 2 adults, but 4 adults would be difficult as there is only seating for 2 in the lounge (but plenty of room for 4 adults elsewhere). Good and well equipped kitchen. Not good if you have mobility issues as narrow stairs to get to the property and the main bed is placed directly on the floor so very low and difficult to get in and out of. It’s on a narrow road so parking immediately near the cottage for loading and unloading is tricky too, but we did always find a space within a few minutes walk. Very peaceful, a short walk to the sea (5 minutes) and 3 good pubs a similar distance away. Keepers Cottages staff were very helpful regarding a few maintenance issues we had."

"The George is ideally located for our needs during our stay in Deal each Spring. Ample parking provision for several vehicles in secure surrounds. The only issue with the key fobs to access the gates and the house is there aren't enough of them. An additional set or two would be helpful. On saying this, this is our only gripe. The house is always presented well, it's clean, tidy and welcoming with a basket of goodies and other provisions laid out on arrival. The rooms are spacious and comfortable throughout and the garden areas are great for entertaining on a nice warm evening. A place well worth considering when weighing up the other options in the near vicinity, we highly recommend."
