"The hotel is in a lovely position, opposite Vondel Park, is very close to the major museums and close shops and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and the hotel has a very relaxed vibe. I really enjoyed my stay and the room was a sanctuary to come back to after a busy day sightseeing and shopping."

"I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The property is currently under construction, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. There was a strong smell throughout, likely related to the ongoing work, and the room itself was extremely small with no proper space for luggage. Basic amenities were missing — there was no closet, no place to sit, and even the shower and toilet were uncomfortably small. To make matters worse, the staircase was closed, and I had to use an alternative exit without any clear prior notice. Overall, the stay felt poorly managed and inconvenient. It is frustrating that the hotel continues to operate under these conditions. It would be far more reasonable to close temporarily and reopen once construction is complete, or at the very least clearly inform guests in advance. Due to this negative experience, I believe a refund is justified."

"Excellent location for exploring Amsterdam, right next to Leidseplein, few mins from Rijksmuseum, canal tours, easy walk to Vondelpark, inner canal ring, Anne Frank House etc. Close to many bars and eateries/restaurants. Trams stop just outside. Good choice foods at breakfast (buffet only, not cooked to order). We ate elsewhere in the evening, so can't comment on dinner. Nice clean room, large shower, comfy bed and pillows."
