"My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in May. We found the hotel to be clean and quiet. The breakfast was great, with an egg station for made-to-order eggs everyday! There’s a great spa and fitness center on site that we also took advantage of. The best part about this hotel though was the staff and how friendly and welcoming they were! I would stay here again if we ever have the chance, it was wonderful! "

We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). "This property has some very good assets. It also has some issues that need to be resolved. The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. But we tried to get some information from the owner/manager on our first night and it turned into a fiasco. The manager got angry with me for asking simple questions. The rest of our stay seemed like a disaster because of it. I'm sorry it ended up like that, there was no need for it to go...

"This hotel was nice, nestled at the top of Lake Como and at the bottom of a mountain! Be mindful, it’s still quite the uphill trek from the main road if you don’t have a car! Train is about a 15 min walk. There is only 2 restaurants in town, one in the hotel, so you’re at their mercy! The room is good but the views! That’s why you’re there, can’t beat them! Enjoy!"
