"Though this hotel room was significantly smaller than expected, it was well appointed, safe, super clean, and in an amazing location. You can't really beat the location. I appreciated the no hassle check-in process, and I really liked the virtual front desk. I'd definitely stay here again. "

"The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. It reminded me of a very nice hostel. The only downside is the street noise from cars and partyers on the street. Ear plugs help."

"Was nice, never usually stay at a motel but it was better than some hotels I've stayed at. The beds were pretty comfortable as well and the only downside was that there wasn't some bottled water or coffee. "

"No parking needed. The facility looked decent on the outside, but very dated and run down on the inside. It's a place to sleep for the night. The Becks motel/hotel in the Castro was a much better experience. Some older hotels just have that lived in look. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very accommodating, and made WONDERFUL breakfasts.
Some people may prefer elsewhere, as the bathroom is shared, one cannot lock their room door when they are out and about, and parking is limited on the residential street. However, we felt safe and secure, nonetheless, and did not have any issues with the shard bathroom."

"We had a great stay and we plan to come back! Thank you to the staff at Hotel Kabuki for making our stay memorable! The room was clean, plenty of amenities and the staff was friendly!"
"Long time staff take pride in giving friendly, comfortable stay. Big rooms. Love being on 3 floor w city view. Quiet and clean and a good night sleep. "
"For the price this place is pretty unbeatable. The staff is great and it's pretty quiet both within the hotel and you don't really hear a lot of the outside noise. The room itself is pretty barebones, but it does have everything you need - bed, bathroom, and even a fridge and microwave. The rooms are small but they're definitely adequate. Between the super kind staff, the quietness, and it being clean I really can't imagine anything better at the price. "
"Great location for a visit for my mom’s 82nd birthday trip. We were able to walk many places and it was easy to get a Wayco or Uber/Lyft when needed. Howard was a great host. He gave us an extensive list of local recommendations. As stated in the listing, there is no cooking facilities. We did not need them so the coffeemaker, mini fridge and microwave were just fine for us. The garage access would be a huge benefit if you have a car which we did not. I would not recommend this property for more than 2 adults if you are not comfortable in close quarters and sharing beds. It was perfectly fine for a mom and two daughters but maybe not for others that aren’t as close It worked perfect for us."
