"The Hotel The hotel is set in a lovely spot — quiet and peaceful, yet with plenty of restaurants close by and the main tourist spots within easy reach. The Room This hotel has thought about the basics of sleep in a way many hotels simply don't. The bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and the pillows — wow — they're amazing. What a lot of hotels get wrong is the air con, but here it's whisper-quiet — no tapping, banging, or buzzing in sight, which makes for a genuinely cool night's sleep. The blackout curtains cross over each other (genius — it's the small things that matter), and even the door to the stairwell cuts out the noise from downstairs. All those little details add up to a 100% perfect night's sleep. I'll miss that. The Bathroom That shower — OMG. It's one powerful shower, an absolute dream after a long day of walking. Could do with a touch more room if I'm being picky, but I loved it. One small note: the fridge isn't really a fridge — more of a box with lights and no function whatsoever. When the hotel did get something wrong, they put it right, and I'm grateful for that. The bakery is a beauty — the almond croissant is an absolute must. The Staff Friendly, kind, always with a smile — this is what makes a hotel, and they got it right every single day."

"Wonderful!! I especially want to thank every staff member working there, the receptionists, and the waitresses; they were the best! It was our 1st marriage anniversary, and we wanted to choose a romantic place for a small getaway to Berlin, and it was exactly what I dreamed of. Everything was very clean, exactly as promised, and romantic. We loved the details in our room (Classic one), like the surprise Provocator button, the windowed bathroom, and the mirrors over the bed. The overall ambience of the hotel puts you in the mood. The breakfast had not many options, but every single thing was very delicious and unlimited enough to make us full. The bar was amazing. The location was perfect too, very close to an S-Bahn (or U, I'm not sure) and in the evening, we walked for just 5-10 mins and then arrived at the luxurious Ku'damm street. Some improvable things in the future: the TV in the room was very far and small, breakfast can include more options (olives, salads, spreadable stuff) and the 100 euro deposit for the minibar seems unnecessary. At the end we had an amazing weekend and look forward to coming here again in the future to try the bigger rooms! Very happy!"

"A lovely informal and unpretentious place that treats you like one of the family. As a bonus you get to feel like a Berliner as the house is just like a normal tenement house and not like a generic hotel. Also a nice breakfast downstairs with authentic local dishes and a cafe in the afternoon."

"Good quality/price hotel. The only problem was that there was no hot water. I complained, and the lady at the reception offered in return a free breakfast, which was nice, but I had already planned to have breakfast elsewhere."
