"We had a great stay! The tent was really cozy, it had two comfy queen beds already made, a nightstand, lights, a beautiful macramé decoration, and a solid floor with the cutest mats. There was free on-site parking for two cars, a big picnic area with a large food table, and free games to borrow right by the green space. The surrounding trails were amazing for walking, biking, and hiking. Since it’s in a Provincial Park, the wildlife and nature were absolutely stunning.
If you’re new to camping, like us, this place is the perfect way to ease into it. You still get that outdoor experience, but with all the cozy touches and amenities. No need to worry about setting up a tent or bringing bedding, everything’s ready for you when you arrive. They will provide you towels and a lot of rental supplies… and the best part, it’s pet friendly.
We got lost at midnight and a really nice lady responded to our call and escorted us to our campsite.
It really is the perfect mix of comfort and outdoors!"
"We liked the unique design of the room. Because the two beds were behind walls with the bathroom in between, each of us felt like we had our own room!"
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary NW - University Area by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Exceded expectations.
As a very avid travel with both work and family I visit a lot of hotels. I also have been to calgary 30+ times for work.
This hotel staff was so friendly and helpful, they would see me passing for the pool and run to give me a towel before I asked. The breakfast was always fresh and being topped up. Excellent quality. The POOL, if you have kids, its perfect. Lastly LOCATION. EXCELLENT, excellent, excellent. Banff trail stop is in the same parking lot as the hotel. I never need a taxi to the city, easy for families if someone wants to go back to the room. There's "Big T BBQ" is in the same parkinglot. Next to that is DQ for dessert. Liquor store also right next to that.
Boxes were all checked.
Perfect for a family or business stay. I will book every time I return. "
"Always a great stay at the grey eagle, but slightly disappointed in the condition of the bathroom this time. We were put in an accessible room (not needed) and the shower flooded all over the bathroom as there is no lip to contain water. Otherwise a great stay. "
Have a fun-filled day with the family at Calaway Park during your trip to Springbank. Stroll along the riverfront in this vibrant area or visit its top-notch restaurants.
