"We had a good overall stay, and the host was responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. There are a few things that could use some attention, though. Some of the appliances need replacing—the kettle was rusty, the toaster was melted, and the coffee machine wasn’t working. We also noticed some mold in the showers and washing machine. "This is a self-service hotel where you will receive the location and door code along with the key which associates to your room. The room had the basic necessities such as soap, towels and WiFi which were all I needed. The only issue I had was activating the A/C which did not work even after closing the window. Overall, I enjoyed Chania and TheJoy hotel and would come back again!"
