Beautiful apartment style hotel in Perledo, up the hill from Varenna. Lovely friendly staff and Pippo the dog.
Great food and views of Varenna and Lake Como. Property is a 20 minute walk up a cobblestone track from Varenna, useful for burning off excess calories 😂

We really loved this hotel. We stayed for a week and the location on the piazza with across-the-road views of the lake could not be beaten. The lovely staff were friendly and helpful. Accommodation - our room was beautiful - good sized bathroom, and a lovely bedroom with two small balconies looking over the piazza and on to the lake.. We really recommend the hotel and hope to be able stay again.

We found a leaky roof dripping water on the bed but this was very quickly fixed by moving us to another room. I am sure that will not be an ongoing problem. The hotel is excellent - clean and comfortable - better than the pictures suggest.
Easy walk to both the ferry terminal and train station.

Arriving in Tremezzina was like landing in Paradise and Hotel La Darsena was just the icing on the cake. I booked not having any real idea where to stay in Como and we could not have been happier. This adorable little boutique hotel has the most magnificent view from it's restaurant terrace and this was the main reason I booked. We had a loft room which was adorable and looked out over the lake. The location is perfect, Bellagio is literally a stones throw across the water and the ferry terminal...

Wonderful hotel with the best view. The lovely owners make their own olive oil and produce from their orchard. Rooms are large and town is a 10 minute walk. You are nestled in a peaceful oasis with the best views. The self service wine is delicious (you get a card that charges you) and sitting on the verandah area is perfection. I don’t ever remember a better value place to stay.

Room was excellent and the air conditioning was amazing. The room was amazingly dark and quiet at night and great view out the window during the day. The bag storage was a minor bit troublesome as it seemed like the restaurant staff didn’t enjoy sorting this out for us, but not the most annoying. The location was very convenient to the train station and a small walk (10 mins) to the main town.

This historic villa in a stunningly beautiful location right on Lake Como, is a unique and memorable place to stay. Our room had a wonderful view and while smaller than I had expected, it was well appointed. Situated within easy walking distance of the small town of Varenna, this property has a beautiful garden and outdoor areas from which to enjoy the mesmerizing view. Attentive, professional and helpful staff will ensure you have a wonderful experience. I was sorry to leave.

Just wow! So many things we loved about this charming hotel… the fantastic location across the road from the lake , a first floor balcony that overlooked the town square and a view of lake, clean room and comfy bed. Easy walk to ferry terminal and all the dining options. One of the highlights of this hotel was the infinity roof top pool - we spent every afternoon taking in the view from this wonderful spot. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return next time in Italy. Thank you...

The hotel had a lovely view of Lake Como and only a few minutes walk from bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The reception staff were very helpful. There was an underground car park with a lift! Pool was lovely clean and refreshing. Breakfast was moderate. Part of the walk into the next town Tremezzo was a little tight on the road but worthwhile as it's a beautiful village. There is a hopon hopoff open train/bus that can be used to get around.
