"Lovely place, perfect for a low key relaxing weekend. Spent our time reading, playing games, in the hot tub or napping. Very clean, lots of towels, really appreciated that. note: the housekeeper is in love with scent plug ins and there were 7 in the house, which is wayyyy overpowering. I just unplugged them and set them on the porch as the host said that was ok to do. Views of the lake were great, though to get down to the lake you have to go down a bit of a cliff, so dont expect easy lake access( my one regret, i didnt realize. But i just used the hot tub instead. ) laundry was great! Very safe for kids, latches on the gates and there is no slipping thru the deck railing. "

"It was a nice home, beautiful view, but it didn't feel welcoming like other homes we have stayed, assuming because its managed by a company. The signs everywhere saying times of music and gatherings allowed felt a little institutional."

"The Happy Owl was lovely. Accommodations overall very nice & easy. I wish the deck had been cleaned before we arrived and the hot top was open. It was a gorgeous evening on Friday. There were no instructions on how to unlock the hot tub so I would consider it, not as featured. Location was okay easy to get to. We felt the neighborhood was run down. "

"The 2 course breakfast was great. I had a breath taking view of the lake from different points in the house which was exactly what I wanted. The host was also great and very welcoming. The room I had was creatively curated down to the sinks and rugs. It was a great experience. I will coming back for sure. I rate this 10/10. "
