"The place is nice but the following are things to know. Visitors are likely to be older and exhausted when arriving in an unknown place.1) You gave a gate code. The keypad is disconnected and doesn't work. So, instant confusion. 2) Finding the house was hard. It turns out there is a sign but it's currently unreadable! Put up new sign at road to cabin. The keycode to door didn't work. More frustration. The contact person was nice and helpful---but I shouldn't have needed to call them. Finally, repair the flapper valve(s) in toilet(s). The first thing I had to do was field repair toilet tank in east bedroom area because the flapper is shot. The water has sulfur in it and is corrosive. Rebuild tank parts in both baths to avoid trouble. I liked the place once I finally found it and got things in order."

"We had an incredible stay at this property and would absolutely give it 5 stars without hesitation. From the moment we walked in, the place was spotless—everything was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and clearly cared for. It really made a difference knowing the home was not only beautiful but also kept to such a high standard.One of the standout features was the amount of activities available. There was truly something for everyone. The basketball court was a huge hit and got plenty of use, and the pool table made for some great late-night competition. It felt like you didn’t even need to leave the property because there was always something to do.Overall, this place exceeded expectations in every way. Between the cleanliness, the attention to detail, and all the built-in entertainment, it made for a perfect getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, well-kept place to stay."

"The rooms were beyond awful. It looks like (based on the photos) that two people started to fix up this old motel and the one who was fixing it up quit and left halfway the project. We booked two rooms, for our family and my parents. Their room looked like an awful hospital room. Our floors were uneven, tiles in the bathroom were loose with glue remains next to it, open sockets with notes on it to not touch (luckily higher up so kids could't touch it). The property itself was nice and maintained. There is a little playground next to the pool and the grounds are great. If the hotel has fixed up rooms, they should not rent out to unfixed rooms. I think the photos do NOT match the actual rooms, so it was a dissappointment."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this rental property. It was incredibly relaxing from the moment we arrived, with a beautiful view that made it easy to unwind and disconnect from the everyday hustle. The setting truly puts you in touch with nature—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by wildlife. One of the highlights was how pet-friendly the property is, which made the experience even better for our whole family. We loved being able to feed deer right outside and were amazed to see foxes roaming freely nearby without any fear—it felt like such a unique and special experience. Communication with Roy, the property owner, was also super easy. He was responsive, helpful, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. If you’re looking for a serene getaway where you can recharge and enjoy nature up close, this is the perfect place. We would absolutely stay here again."
