"I chose the Strawberry Bank Hotel because I was arriving on a late flight and leaving the following morning. The hotel was one of few offering suitable accommodation at a reasonable price with a 24hr reception desk. I was very pleased with the hotel; the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was attractive, clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Many thanks for a pleasant stay!"

"TV remote control did not work. Brought it to reception, but no spare batteries. Asked if possible to swap batteries with unoccupied room... went out.... 5 hrs later, no luck... Nice cookie at check-in. Beautiful room with view over the football pitch. Very good breakfast."

"Good location, check in ok, no information given regs facilities, breakfast etc. room good size, clean, a little tired in terms of decor but comfortable. Saturday night is disco night so expect music until 12 midnight. Breakfast a bit chaotic, guests meandering about in the hall to be served, with the manager serving out food on a rationed basis. Good quality food though. For the money it was good and despite the above I would stay again. "

"Good value in all with really lovely staff which made the stop. Why i have given them 3 stars is because they had no eggs for breakfast for me that a crime as i stay away a lot i don't want fried food so always have poached eggs. When you have a full day ahead of you i rely on breakfast which is why i paid £11.95 for it in advance. What was served was poor quality and not worth the money. I still cant believe a hotel with no eggs!"
