"The parking can be a little tough but the staff, grounds and room more than make up for it. When you do find parking it is an easy walk to the zoo that is the Del Coronado (a lot of fun and historic but extremely expensive), and to many restaurants. They don’t have a pool but arrangements can be made. They serve a complimentary breakfast with mimosas if you’d like and an afternoon wine and cheese treat. All in all we will be back!"
"The room was not up-kept. The whole place is dated. There’s cracks and unsealed areas where bugs get in. Many mosquitos in the room. Ants crawling on the walls and in the beds. Not boutique, more like bare minimum. No staff on site, air conditioning is loud, and parking is 4 spots."
"We feel that Glorietta Bay Hotel main building is
beautiful hotel with great people that work there.
However we did have an issue with the AC turning on and off during the night which I notified the staff.
It was coming on and off every 10 to 15 minutes very loud and not always cooling like it was just the compressor.
Also I would like to say that the room is very dated
seems that doing an upgrade hasn’t been a priority

"The Cherokee Lodge is a lovely, charming little cottage just a few minutes walk to everything fun in Coronado. My daughter and I stayed in room 9 which is very small but plenty of room for the two of us. Our first night was fine aside from the fact the refrigerator in the room did not work but our second was awful. The air conditioning unit kept over heating and blowed hot air.
